MecWash on Top Down Under

We’re delighted to announce that Clipsal Australia (part of Schneider Electrics Group) won a National Safety Council of Australia (NSCA) award for Injury Prevention by installing a MecWash aqueous cleaning system.

Clipsal had previously used solvents to clean machining oils and metal particles from the electrical switchgear they manufacture. However, Clipsal’s risk assessment concluded that the continued use of solvents was neither morally nor economically justifiable, a view strongly endorsed by the NSCA award.

Not only have Clipsal minimised workplace risks, but independent tests have demonstrated that by adopting the MecWash, they have improved the wash quality too.
