Our
range of aqueous washing and drying equipment, adaptable to meet the user's
precise requirements, is shown repeatedly to produce cleaner and drier
results than any other comparable method. The combination of our acclaimed
rotational washing technology, high pressure jetting where required, hot
air and vacuum drying and speed of throughput allows the user to place
the cleaning process at the heart of the manufacturing operation.
Designed
to accommodate not only widely available baskets and containers but also
individually tailored fixtures, there is virtually no metal component
or product washing requirement which we cannot fulfil. Allied to a comprehensive
understanding of chemical usage - supported by our own in-house laboratory
and testing facility - this means that we can supply the optimum blend
of equipment, consumables and knowledge that the manufacturing industry
demands.
Containerised Processing
The integration of customers' existing handling methods is central to
each MecWash Systems installation. Whether using tote pans, trays, baskets
or tailored fixtures, both containers and components can be washed simultaneously
during the process - minimising part handling and also eliminating cross
contamination risks.
Individual parts can also be accommodated by the MecWash equipment.
In these cases the wash chamber is customised to process, for example,
cylinder heads, crankcases and transmission cases - of particular benefit
in a cell manufacturing environment.
In all cases, components are securely held throughout the rotational
washing process. A choice of process programmes is available,
each one specified to meet the cleaning and drying requirements of the
individual component or product.
This
flexibility of programming is based upon fundamental washing and drying
operational features which are at the heart of every MecWash machine.
The high volume and sheer weight of water used, combined with component
rotation, ensures penetration into even the most complex of components.
Blind holes, galleries and oil ways present no difficulties for the
process particularly when it is combined with high pressure, directional
jetting. As each cycle concludes with rotational air blasting, hot air
drying and, if appropriate, vacuum drying, users can be confident that
every component or product will emerge from their MecWash machine thoroughly
cleaned, completely dry and ready for onward finishing
or assembly.
